Irina Deritt has been haunted by her past following her traumatic breakup with Jehonadab. She uses her love of art and music as a distraction.
Unexpectedly, as she begins her new life, she meets an arrogant Jarrod—an artist like her, a wordsmith with a tragic past. Every day, they fight like cats and dogs.
Jarrod is penning a heartfelt love story. He has become inattentive to the plot, which now matches his current situation with Irina.
Is he finding a better place, or is he simply writing about the same pain and tragic ending?
Will that book reopen its pages for a second chance? What if that possibility only hurts their hearts more?
